This season took us farther north than we’ve ever gone—into the quiet, wild beauty of Iceland. We traveled with photographer Chris Burkard, whose winter surf imagery first sparked the idea for this collection, and found a landscape that felt both grounding and otherworldly. The colors, the cold, the people, and the spirit of adventure all shaped what you’ll see here. This lookbook is a small window into that experience—an invitation to slow down, get outside, and feel the magic of the elements the way we did.
The deeper we explored, the more we understood why Icelanders talk about their surf breaks the way some people talk about sacred places. It’s raw and unpredictable, but that’s what makes it so captivating. The surfers we met carried the same spirit as the land: resilient, resourceful, and always ready for the next challenge.

As photographer Elli Thor Magnusson shared with us, Iceland’s surf scene began with a small group of friends who were as much explorers as they were surfers. What started with borrowed boards and dry suits quickly became a way of life shaped by shifting weather, icy water, and the rare thrill of finding the perfect wave. Today, the community remains tight-knit and deeply connected to the ocean—an energy that influenced the colors and textures of this season.
We also saw how deeply Icelanders are connected to the land itself. Through conversations with locals like environmental educator Rachel Jonas, we learned just how fragile and powerful this landscape can be—from moss that takes centuries to recover, to water so clean it sets a benchmark for the rest of the world. The care and intention woven into daily life here inspired us as much as the scenery.
And above all, we came to understand that embracing the elements isn’t optional in this corner of the world—it’s simply how life is lived. Weather shifts in an instant, and nature often determines the rhythm of the day. For generations, fishermen, foragers, and mountaineers have relied on clothing sturdy enough for the conditions yet comfortable enough for long days spent outside. That mindset guided how we approached this season.
