We’re a part of BLUESIGN, a system that provides a safer and more sustainable working and living environments. They help trace each textile’s path along the manufacturing process and make improvements at every stage.
We are proud members of 1% for the Planet, a global network of brands and individuals dedicated to donating to and volunteering with environmental organizations. Because of this, we donate 1% of all of our swim sales (most of our swimwear material is made from recycled plastic bottles) to environmental organizations. We also host benefit concerts in support of 1% for the Planet causes.
We grew up surfing and so much of the inspiration behind the brand is tied to the ocean. So, we annually give back to the Surfrider Foundation, an organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.
We give 10% of sales from our native-inspired prints to a variety of indigenous organizations because we believe that it rightfully belongs to them. Most recently, we’ve partnered with our friend Doug Goodfeather’s Spirit Horse Nation and Lakota Way Healing Center. We also have upcoming collaborations planned with other native designers. The organizations we support will change accordingly based on these partnerships.
The Trevor Project is a national, 24-hour, toll-free and confidential suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth. We have given a portion of sales from our Pride and Rainbow collections to support this incredible organization.
We met Hector Guadalupe in 2019, and he immediately changed our lives both physically and mentally. After being incarcerated for 10 years, Hector left prison dedicated to health and giving the formerly incarcerated people their second chances. Since its founding, Hector’s organization has trained and placed 197 people in the personal training industry, none of whom have reoffended. Faherty annually donates products to Second U graduates.
