When a Faherty brick and mortar store was still a pipe dream, we brainstormed ways to bring our brand cross-country. After talking to a friend who builds houses in New Hampshire, we bought a semi-truck flatbed and custom designed what is now called "our beach house on wheels." Our all-wood trailer is decked out with sky lights, a sound system, a mobile dressing room, and can fully open on both sides to create an airy store wherever we go.
When we launched this brand the summer of 2013, we embarked on a cross-country trip in our pick up truck with the beach house in tow. We've now traveled down the Southeast coast, through the deep south, across Texas, into the Southwest, up the PCH, through the Rockies and the Midwest...and back, time and time again. We've parked at BBQ joints, 5 star hotels, music festivals, friends' homes, a Big Sur parking lot, and farm stands. We've met so many of you on the road, and you have greeted us with warm arms. Thank you. The nine flat tires, twelve traffic tickets, two freezing nights sleeping on the trailer floor in Wisconsin at a rest stop, and one hail storm has all been worth it. While we're not on the road as much these days, we still take the trailer for a spin now and then, so come find us on our next trip.
