As the youngest of seven kids, the holidays came and went in a blur. One sibling would cry that he received less presents, mom’s turkey would be forgotten in the oven, and grandma would purposely make inappropriate comments at the dinner table. Despite all the chaos, our family gatherings reminded us that we were anchored to something bigger than ourselves. And this brought us comfort.
In the hectic stages of starting our own company five years ago, we again relied on that familial comfort. To this day, our family is the fabric of our company. Mike designs the clothes, Alex keeps business running, our mom Ninie designs our stores, Kerry manages our relationships, and Alex and Kerry’s daughter Ava is our chief baby model. It truly takes a village.
This Holiday season, no matter who cries, what burns, or what grandma says, we hope you enjoy the comfort of those you love most.
