Sun Sessions NYC Vol.2

If you haven't come to a Sun Sessions yet.... you must.

Started a year ago in Alex and Kerry's living room, Sun Sessions has quickly expanded into a seasonal concert series with some of Faherty's favorite musicians. We've held them across the country from Malibu to Nashville to Austin to NYC. Founded on 3 principals we hold dear – community, creativity & connection – the night begins with good food and drink, segues into a short guided meditation by Brand President Kerry, and ends with an acoustic concert.

In sum, Sun Sessions is our virtual bonfire.

Tuesday night, many of you gathered around that bonfire to enjoy an epic evening of story and song by Brad Corrigan of DISPATCH, guitarist and singer/songwriter Paul Beaubrun, and the amazingly talented percussionist Reinaldo ("Rey”) Dejesus.
Though Brad and Rey had only met Paul minutes before, they somehow jammed together as if they had been a band for years, seamlessly merging Paul's Haitian roots with Rey's Latin drumming and Brad's folk melodies. To hear music and song that would likely never be recreated again was both inspiring and moving.
This Sun Sessions was a benefit concert for Artists for Peace and Justice, and we are proud to share that 5% of all online and in store sales from May 15 – June 30th go directly back to APJ to sponsor 40 Haitian kids' education for an entire year.

A special shout out to our rockstar sponsors who made the night happen:
WeWork hosted us in their space, LYFT sponsored the event and offered discounted rides to and from the concert, Don Julio provided insanely delicious cocktails, Healthade Kombucha offered a Kombucha Tasting, Cisco Brewers hydrated people with their craft beer, La Colombe kept people caffeinated with draft lattes, and Whalebone gifted copies of their beloved magazine.
